Reading Area Community College is an open-enrollment public institution that was founded in the year1971. The college is located in Reading, Pennsylvania and offers the associate degree, certificate and diploma programs for its 3,000 plus students currently studying there. The college comprises of the divisions of Business; Health Profession; Humanities; Science and Mathematics; and Social Science and Human Services. The Community Education/Workforce Development division offers programs like Dental Assisting, Home Health Aide, Veterinary Assisting, Fire and EMS Training and GED Preparation.
