Samuel Merritt University, founded in 1909 as a hospital school of nursing, is a health sciences institution located in Oakland, California. The total student enrollment is nearly 1,200, with campuses in Oakland, Sacramento, San Francisco and San Mateo. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Physician Assistant and Podiatric Medicine.
