The University of San Francisco, founded in 1855 and San Francisco's oldest university, is an independent university located on a hilltop near Golden Gate Park in the center of the city of San Francisco. Located in one of the world's most beautiful cities and the vibrant, dynamic San Francisco Bay Area, 9,500 students are enrolled at the university including 960 international students.
