Western Wyoming Community College was opened in 1959 as a comprehensive community college. The College is a public institution located in Rock Springs and has an extended campus center in Green River, Sweetwater County, Wyoming. The College has an enrollment of 3400 students from Wyoming, the United States, and the world. The College offers two-year transfer programs to pursue a baccalaureate, two-year occupational degrees, a number of occupational certificate programs and some four year degrees in cooperation with the University of Wyoming in Laramie, Wyoming.
