In a Bachelor of Actuarial Science you’ll learn to apply mathematical concepts to real-life scenarios, and use your analytical skills to help companies plan for the future. As you further develop your maths and analytical skills, you’ll start to use a range of concepts and data findings to solve real commercial problems.

Actuaries play major roles in a range of organisations - in insurance, superannuation, business and financial services, scientific and social research, and engineering.
A Bachelor of Actuarial Science will give you technical and analytical skills. It covers financial accounting, microeconomics, macroeconomics and economic statistics.
You’ll learn about the foundations of finance, corporate finance, debt markets and fixed incomes securities and apply mathematical concepts to real-life scenarios.
This degree is accredited by the Actuaries Institute, and may allow you to achieve Part I of the Actuaries Institute professional qualification.
