Are you creative, self-motivated, like to work in a team, organized but flexible, and most of all are interested in how people think and act? Then USQ’s Bachelor of Business and Commerce (Marketing) may be the degree for you. Marketing encompasses the steps taken to position your product or services into the hands of potential customers. As such, it can focus the energy and resources of an organization to their best potential for maximum gain in the marketplace.
The marketing major provides you with opportunities to learn relevant marketing theories and principles in a real-world context through the use of case studies and applied activities. You will also have the opportunity in your final year to complete a professional work experience course where you’ll work with an organization to complete a project.
In addition to your chosen specialization of Marketing, you can choose to study another area in-depth with a second major, or broaden your knowledge with a combination of minors and electives. These can be chosen from a wide range of business and commerce-related courses.
Professional accreditation
The Marketing major within the Bachelor of Business and Commerce is accredited by the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI) and students are eligible for credit towards becoming a Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM) upon completion.
