The need for qualified Disability Support workers has never been higher and this Stanley College course will ensure that you gain all the skills and knowledge needed to join this rapidly growing sector. Taught by experienced health professionals, this course will get you ready to work in a range of roles. You will learn how to offer individualised support, the legal and ethical practice of health work, and how to follow safe work practices.
This popular course also includes a work-based training component so you get real-life experience in the health work environment. You’ll be work-ready as soon as you graduate and able to take up employment as a respite care worker, residential care worker, or disability support worker.

COURSE DURATION

This course is delivered over 16 weeks (Intensive Course). This course includes no Holidays .
Classes are rostered for 3 days per week. Weekday classes available.
Full Time studies requires students to attend a minimum of 20 scheduled course contact hours per week
