The Resource and Environmental Studies program exposes you to resource and environmental legislation, resource management, contemporary environmental issues and environmental and community health. The program enables you to explore how these topics affect Indigenous peoples, cultures and histories.
The Bachelor of Arts in Resource and Environmental Studies is a joint program with Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Woodland Campus and First Nations University of Canada. Completion of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic, Prince Albert Campus, Resource and Environmental Law Diploma or Saskatchewan Polytechnic’s Integrated Resource Management Diploma is required for admission to this program.
Students will be granted 60 credit hours of block transfer credit for completion of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic diploma. The remaining 60 credit hours must be completed at the University of Regina.

Ecology and Justice, Indigenous Economic, Environmental and Geographic Systems, Human Environment Impact, Land Use/Management.

Graduates find jobs as conservation officers, environmental consultants, forestry officers, resource officers and wildlife officers.
