Queen's Graduate Diploma in Business is a four month comprehensive overview of business fundamentals beginning each year in May. The curriculum includes ten courses which all represent credit toward a Queen's MBA degree in the future.
Curriculum
The Curriculum for the Graduate Diploma in Business consists of 10 courses, all of which are credit courses for the Queen's MBA. These courses are:
Completing Your MBA or Other Master’s Degree
Upon completion of the Queen's Graduate Diploma in Business, there are several options for earning a Queen’s MBA or other Master’s degree.
Please note that an undergraduate university degree and a B+ average in the GDB program is required for admission to our MBA or other Master's level programs. Those who complete the Graduate Diploma in Business program and wish to apply their credits to a Queen's MBA or Master's degree will be required to meet all of the admission requirements for that Master's program.

Undergraduate Education
Candidates must possess an undergraduate degree from a recognized university. The Admissions Committee will make a determination on the suitability of the undergraduate degree when assessing a candidate's complete admission file. Successful candidates will typically possess a minimum B+ average (roughly equivalent to 75%) in the final two years of their undergraduate program.
Please Note: In the event that official transcripts showing the completion of degree requirements are not available prior to the start of the Graduate Diploma in Business, a student may be allowed to start the program. However, all grades will be withheld until official transcripts are provided to and reviewed by the Program Director.

Two references. These references may be personal, professional or academic. The strongest references come from those who have relied on your work or can comment on your strength of character. Referees will be provided a link by your Application Advisor.
English Language Proficiency
If your first language is not English and you have not lived in Canada for a minimum of three years or your undergraduate program was not taught in English, you will need to take an English language test (TOEFL, IELTS, MELAB, or PTE).
