You can complete this degree as a traditional thesis or course based program on campus over two years. There is also the opportunity to take the majority of your classes online and then participate in a Summer Institute with a capstone component. Each of these cohorts are focused around a specific theme.

Applicants must have a three-year first cycle undergraduate degree, in an academic discipline relevant to the proposed field of study, from an institution which will be acceptable as the equivalent of an undergraduate honours degree.A cumulative weighted average of at least 70% (U of S grade system equivalent) in the last two years of full-time study (i.e. 60 credit units U of S equivalent)is required. Other English Language Requirements accepted: TOEFL score of at least 550 on the paper-based test and TOEFL (computer based) of 213 ; the Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic)with a minimum overall score of 59; Most recent official CAEL (Canadian Academic English Language) Assessment score of 60 or higher; A minimum score of at least 85 on the English Proficiency Test administered by the English Language Institute of the University of Michigan (MELAB); University of Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE) with a minimum grade of C or higher.
