Programme Aims & Features

The programme will facilitate the entry of students into the aviation industry by providing a concrete foundation of aviation operation and management knowledge and skills. Major topics include airline business development and management, airport operations, risk and safety management, air cargo, ground services, flight dispatch and various types of knowledge commonly applied in the day-to-day aviation operations.

This programme aims to nurture the next generation aviation talents by providing professional knowledge and training in aviation, together with practical and transferrable skills related directly to the subject. Topics include airline and airport operations, risk and safety management, air cargo, ground services, flight dispatch, and training that are commonly required in day-to-day aviation operations.

The programme has received tremendous support from the local and international industry to provide internship opportunities for students. Students can also participate in ICAO recognized training courses and field trips at the restricted areas of Hong Kong International Airport, attend training workshops, International Airshow and Conference in Singapore and Australia to broaden their horizons to an international level. Students will also have practical flying experience in local flying school during the Australia Aviation Study trip.
