Overview
Master, M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees are designed for graduates with technical qualifications, practitioners in the related professions and those wanting to enhance their understanding and skill in asset and facilities management. The programmes also provide opportunities for research in various asset management and facilities management related matters.
Programme Structure
The Master programme by taught course offers 4 core courses, 5 elective courses and one compulsory university course (3 credits). Students are also required to submit a master project of 6 credits. To graduate, students must complete a total of 40 credits. Students are assessed through tests, assignments, presentations and final examinations.
The Master of Science by research offers opportunities in Facilities Management studies. The research project allows the student to conduct research in various disciplines with supervision from the lecturers. Students are also required to take courses on research methodology and 1 university course (3 credits).

A Bachelor’s Degree with good honours from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or any other institution of higher learning recognised by the Senate; or
A qualification equivalent to a bachelor’s degree and experience in the relevant field recognised by the Senate.
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - Band 6.0 and above; TOEFL (iBT) score of 60 and above; Cambridge English Qualifications (CEQ) – B2 First (FCE), C1 Advanced (CAE), C2 Proficiency (CPE) – Score of 169 and above; The Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic – Score of 59 and above; Malaysian University Entrance Test (MUET) – Band 4 and above.
