The Master of Clinical Education (MClinEd) programme develops educational theory and practice to equip you for a career in clinical education.

Programme structure
Students can choose between a taught (120 and 240 points) or research (120 and 240 point) masters.
Taught masters (120 points)
Enter from a postgraduate qualification
Advanced taught courses in clinical skills teaching, curriculum and course design, supervision and research methods in health listed in the Master of Clinical Education Schedule (60 points)
Completion of a dissertation (60 points)
One year full-time or up to two consecutive years part-time
Taught masters (240 points)
Enter from an undergraduate degree
Advanced taught courses listed in the Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Education Schedule (120 points)
Approved advanced level courses covering topics in clinical education (60 points)
Completion of a dissertation (60 points)
Two consecutive years full-time or up to four years part-time
Research masters (120 points)
Enter from a postgraduate qualification
Choose between a thesis (120 points) or a research portfolio (120 points)
One consecutive year full-time or up to two consecutive years part-time
Research masters (240 points)

Taught 120 points / Research 120 points:
You must have completed one year of postgraduate study in clinical education at a recognised university (or similar institution), following an undergraduate degree. You will need a GPE of 5.0 or higher.
Taught 240 points / Research 240 points:
You must have completed a relevant undergraduate degree such as medicine, nursing, optometry, pharmacy, audiology, medical imagery, or nutrition and dietetics. Your study must have been at a recognised university (or similar institution) and you will need a GPE of 5.0 or higher in your final year of study.
You also need to be currently engaged in clinical teaching or curriculum development in a health-related discipline.
IELTS (Academic): Overall score of 6.5 and no bands less than 6.0; Internet-based TOEFL (iBT): Overall score of 90 and written score of 21; Paper-based TOEFL: Overall score of 68 and a writing score of 21; Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) or Cambridge English Proficiency (CPE): Overall score of 176 and no bands below 169; Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic: Overall score of 58 and no PTE Communicative score below 50; Foundation Certificate in English for Academic Purposes (FCertEAP): Grade of B-; Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB): 85.
