The Master of Design Technology (MDT) is an innovative programme where you can learn from world-leading professionals teaching in VFX, game design, animation, 3D motion graphics, and multimedia design.In this intensive one-year, full-time programme, youll produce a professional portfolio in your chosen focus of study as well as doing coursework. A practicum rounds out the programme-youll work in a team to produce a short narrative work under the guidance of academic and industry mentors.The Master of Design Technology is the only degree of its type in New Zealand that gives you the best expertise in both university research and industry practice. Youll gain the skills you need for a future in the broad-based and rapidly growing technology sector.

Persyaratan masuk

Untuk mahasiswa dari Amerika Serikat

Students must have a Bachelor's degree with Honours with a B range average in a relevant subject.

Untuk mahasiswa internasional

Appropriate Bachelors degree with at least a B average, portfolio or showreel proving aptitude with a 3D computer graphics application.

Proof of English proficiency

To be accepted into this programme you will need to meet one of the following:

IELTS: minimum overall score of 6.5 with no sub-score below 6.0

TOEFL: minimum score of 90 for the internet-based test with a minimum of 20 in writing

Pearson Test of English: minimum score of 58 (with a ‘Communicative score of not less than 50)

EPP: minimum final scores of 4,4,5,5

Cambridge English Qualifications: C1 Advanced or C2 Proficiency with a score of 176 or higher, with each skill score no less than 169

New Zealand Certificates in English Language (NZCEL): Level 5 (Academic)

NZAPA: English New Zealand Accredited Pathway Assessment Level 3 (with no skill lower than Level 2)
