Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

In this programme students will: draw on the expertise of leading dramatists through Artist-in-Residence scheme and master classes. Embark on exciting immersion programmes to London, Taiwan and Thailand, and learn from international theatre practitioners; work with communities from a wide range of settings, such as schools, prisons and welfare homes. Collaborate with educational institutions and non-profit organisations. Intern with local drama companies, schools, government agencies and community development organisations; bring different stories to life in The Black Box, concrete theatrical space with unlimited potential to transform itself, its players and its audience. It will open the door to a variety of rewarding career options in the arts, arts education, community development and social service sectors: drama educator, educational and outreach officer, drama facilitator, programme officer, social work assistant, welfare officer, youth/ rehabilitative worker or pursue further studies in drama, theatre studies, applied drama or psychology, at local or foreign universities. DADP graduates are accepted into degree programmes at local and foreign universities. Some of these universities grant generous exemptions and advance standing to graduates.

Applicants must have obtained the following qualification: GCSE/ IGCSE/ GCE (non Singapore-Cambridge) from a Singapore mainstream school; those from Integrated Programme (IP) Schools in Singapore who have completed the equivalent of Sec 4 as well as those who have graduated from IP schools can be considered for admission; eligibility is similar to GCE 'O' level; for those who have completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma, the entry requirements are minimum Grade 4 for English (1st Lang) except for Creative Writing for Television and New Media and Media and Communication courses where a Grade 5 (1st Lang) is required, minimum Grade 5 for Mathematics, minimum Grade 5 for relevant subject, overall Aggregate should be at least 22 (based on 5 subjects including English, Mathematics and relevant subject); or equivalent qualification. Students from other countries should have country specific requirements equivalent to Singapore. Also they must fulfill the following English language requirements: TOEFL score of 550 (paper-based), 213 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based); or IELTS (International English Language Testing System - overall minimum 6.0; for China qualifications 6.0 is also required for reading and speaking components), or passes English language entrance test.
