We occupy an increasingly demanding world. Physical and digital realms are converging through social media, physical touchpoints and the rapid growth of XR (extended reality). Our Digital Experience Design MA allows students to explore the physical and digital in a variety of real-world contexts. Students will propose rich and immersive experiences responding to increasingly complex social and commercial concerns.

By challenging norms and pushing critical, creative, and strategic planning processes, you will have the skills to become innovative and transformative designers. This programme is suitable for those with interests in graphic communication, spatial design, advertising, UX/UI, digital transformation and more.

Course Details

This programme provides a postgraduate route for designers to enter a global market. You will be armed with the thinking skills they need to become the transformative innovators of the future.

Specifically, the Digital Experience Design MA at UON will equip students with key skills aligned to the Changemaker values. At the core of the programme are the Ashoka U values of social innovation, social entrepreneurship & collaboration. These are delivered in accordance with the University of Northampton’s strategic mission: Transforming lives and Inspiring change.

This studio-based MA degree supports the free exchange and sharing of ideas, peer group research and analysis and critical evaluation within a positive and supportive industry-focused environment. It seeks to develop graduates with strong self-belief and the ‘soft-skills’ to confidently present their designs and opinions.
