Why study Literature, Culture and Society?

A Master's degree in Literature, Culture and Society will give you an interdisciplinary understanding of literature and related representational forms. You'll interrogate the intricate marriage between literary, theatrical, artistic, and curatorial representations, and their social, political and cultural backdrops

Throughout the degree you'll explore the interconnections between representations and contexts from a range of diverse perspectives. This includes concepts such as: Race; Religion; Gender; Nationhood; Place

Teaching and assessment

You'll be taught at Strawberry Hill House, which is based at our beautiful and historic campus in Twickenham, London. Teaching takes place in interactive face-to-face seminars, with two on-campus sessions per week. You'll be assessed through essays and portfolios as well as your final dissertation or creative work-based project.

Students need to have Masters Degree. All of our postgraduate degrees require 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any section.

Untuk mahasiswa internasional

Applicants are required to have achieved a least a 2:2 first degree in a English Literature or a related subject. Professional experience of working with cultural heritage sites will also be considered. Students whose first Language is not English, they need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 overall with no less than 6.0 in any section (or equivalent). iBT TOEFL: 88 overall with 20 in reading, 19 in listening, 21 in speaking and 20 in writing.
