COURSE OVERVIEW

Our MSc Mechanical Engineering with Industry course is only open to International students.

Gain two years' experience in the UK and the opportunity to work in collaboration with industry on a real-life challenge.

This new MSc is an extension of our MSc Mechanical Engineering and includes a second year allowing you to undertake either an industry placement or an industry-focused project with an industrial partner.

Students need to have: Bachelor with CGPA 3.7 (out of 4.0) is comparable to UK 1st Class; Bachelor with CGPA 3.2 (out of 4.0) is comparable to UK 2.1 standard; Bachelor with CGPA 2.6 (out of 4.0) is comparable to UK 2.2 standard. IELTS 6.5 with 6.0 in each part of the test (or equivalent).

Usually, the entry requirements for the MSc Mechanical Engineering course is a 2:1 honours degree (or above) in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar relevant engineering or science discipline (for example, physics or mathematics). We consider a wide range of qualifications, including the Swansea University English Test, the British Council IELTS test (with a score of at least 6.5 and 5.5 in each component).
