You’ll study industry-relevant analytical chemistry areas including process analysis, quality assurance, spectrometry and chromatography. As well as cutting-edge research topics such as lab-on-a-chip technology – one of our many specialisms.Through hands-on learning, you’ll develop advanced technical and practical skills, taking part in interactive lectures, workshops, laboratory practicals, and computer lab sessions. You’ll learn in our state-of-the-art facilities such as our Mass Spectometry Suite. And build your analytical lab skills working with industry-standard instrumentation and software.You’ll also develop invaluable professional knowledge including the application of quality assurance and health and safety. Along with key skills such as communication, problem solving, data handling and team working. And get the opportunity to progress your research skills by completing an advanced analytical chemistry research project in a topic of your choice.
