APU’s Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministries program equips students for practical ministry. Students become equipped for professional ministry tasks and relationships by learning about them and about ministry. They may select from a concentration in church ministry, intercultural Christian ministry, ministry in social service contexts, sports ministry, urban ministry, and youth outreach and discipleship. Alongside diverse peers from every state and 41 countries, Christian ministries majors develop a theology of ministry for service in transformational Christian communities. They engage in multidisciplinary education and ministry experiences that promote theological reflection, faith integration, and spiritual formation, including hands-on ministry through internships in a church or other ministry settings in relationship with caring professors and other leaders. Christian ministries majors leave APU prepared and ready to make an impact on the world around them. You’re a Christian ministries major if you: Want to make a difference in the world. Have a heart for ministry in general, or for a specific population. Want to learn how to explain what you believe. Want to gain hands-on ministry experience.
