Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The history and education departments at Le Moyne College are partnering to offer a specially designed program leading to a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master’s of Science in Teaching, and initial New York state teacher certification in five years of full-time study.

History helps us to understand the world, become better citizens and judge wisely. It tells us who we are and is a barometer of where we are going. As a history major at Le Moyne, your learning will go well beyond the classroom to historic sites like Gettysburg, Seneca Falls and Fort Niagara, and further still to other sites around the world. You will learn to think beyond local, state and national borders to become a citizen of the world. Not only will you learn about history, but you will also develop skills as a writer and critical thinker that will lead you anywhere. Historians are advocates, communicators and information managers. At Le Moyne, history majors regularly supplement their educations with internships at locations such as the Onondaga County Historical Society, the Office of Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, and the U.S. Department of State. Through those experiences and in the classroom they discover that history is truly the study of the human experience, in all of its beauty and complexity.
