Students in a combined degree program add master’s-level coursework in HRM and experiential learning opportunities to their academic journey while still an undergraduate.
The Krannert Graduate Programs office holds a callout each fall for freshmen, sophomores, and juniors to explain the admissions process and communicate expectations for these combined degree programs.
These combined degree programs require 36 credit hours of master’s level courses over three semesters. Any master’s level courses completed prior to enrolment cannot be used to meet course requirements of the combined degree.

Completion of 108 credit hours of coursework by the end of the junior year (6th semester), including Foundations courses.
University Core requirements and cultural competencies, and any concentration courses required for the student’s major.
Have a minimum 3.0 GPA.
Completion of at least one professional internship.
Demonstration of leadership potential through extracurricular activities.
Meet with academic advisor in their undergraduate advising office to discuss qualifications and potential plan of study.
Applicants whose native language is not English are required to submit one Language Assessment Test for admission to the Purdue University Graduate School. Students can choose from the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
The Graduate School accepts all valid forms of TOEFL testing. Krannert School of Management requirements are Paper based-test (minimum score of 600), computer-based test (minimum score of 260), and Internet-based test (minimum score of Writing 20, Speaking 22, Listening 18, Reading 22, and Total bandwidth 93). For the Internet-based test, all 5 minimum scores must be satisfied.
The Graduate School accepts the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) scores. A copy of the official IELTS report must be scanned and uploaded into the online application. Krannert School of Management requirements are: An overall band score of 7.5 is required for admission, with 7.0 required per each section.
