This program provides a double major and is a comprehensive pathway for candidates to prepare for teacher certification in grades PreK-3 as well as Grades 1-6. Additional coursework focusing on early childhood education development leads to the Master’s degree. Some coursework taken during the senior year is taken at the master’s degree level, providing an accelerated path to completion of the master’s degree in Early Childhood Education.

Literacy (2 courses) ENGL 101 - Writing Across the Disciplines I: Rhetorical Situations ENGL 104 - Writing Across the Disciplines II: Research & Argument.

Mathematics: (2 courses) MATH 208 - Geometry and Statistics for Educators Select one: MATH 207 - Algebra for Educators MATH 116 - Intermediate Algebra MATH 117 - College Algebra (or higher).
