This certificate provides an overview of the field of Information Systems, defined as “the study, design, development, application, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems.” Information systems support all aspects of an organization’s operations, management, and decision-making. An information system is both the technology that an organization uses, as well as the way in which people interact with this technology in support of business processes.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. Applicants who have earned their degrees outside of the US must hold degrees from institutions in compliance with their national standards.

TOEFL: 600 on paper-based, or 100 on Internet-based; or
