DESCRIPTION
The Basic Teaching Track in Secondary Education History / Social Studies Master of Education is a degree designed for individuals who possess a bachelor's degree and appropriate coursework for history/social studies. Successful completion of the program will lead to a Master's degree and can lead to state certification. The program is 36 credit hours and can generally be completed in one calendar year of full-time study, beginning with the Summer Pre-Session. However, students may begin the program during the fall or spring and attend part-or full-time.

A graduate applicant has completed the equivalent of a U.S. Baccalaureate (bachelor) degree and wishes to pursue a Master degree program.
English language requirements: Applicants must score a minimum of 61 on the internet based test (iBT), a minimum of 500 on the written test or a minimum of a 173 on the computer based test. Applicants must receive an overall IELTS score at band 6.0 or above.
