The Master of Science in Community Health Sciences is a research-oriented degree that emphasizes community or psychosocial research within the general field of public health. It includes (1) the development of a thesis or (2) the completion of a comprehensive exam and a major written report.

An international student whose post-secondary education is completed outside of the U.S. is expected to hold a degree representing completion of at least four years of study with above average scholarship from a university or university-level institution.
