RCSI & UCD Malaysia Campus (RUMC) is a private medical university in George Town, Penang, in Malaysia. RUMC offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses, which see students spend half their programme in Dublin, Ireland, at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) or the University College Dublin (UCD). There, they gain pre-clinical training for two and a half years.Students then go to Penang to apply their skills, having access to some of the best teaching hospitals in Malaysia, as well as a one-to-one mentorship. Campus facilities at RUMC include research laboratories, a well-stocked library, student areas, a café and a multimedia centre. When pupils graduate, they come out with a degree from the National University of Ireland (NUI), which is held in high regard around the world.
