Application process

There is one application process for all scholarships. All students are required to complete round one and will be considered for a Business Excellence Scholarship. Students wishing to be considered for the Global Leadership and Dean’s Scholarships must also complete round two.

Round 1

Please respond to one of the questions below in 500 words or less.

A. Varied industrial backgrounds help our MBA classes to be distinct and for our students to contribute varied insights to problems. Outline an experience unique to your industry that demonstrates the diversity of experience that you would bring to the MBA cohort.

B. Aston Business School seeks to encourage entrepreneurialism in its students and alumni. Tell us one key lesson you have learnt from a previous entrepreneurial experience and could share with your future classmates.

C. Greater female participation in business leadership strengthens business performance, yet barriers to entry persist. Explain either how you have overcome gender-based barriers in the workplace previously in your career, or else how you have empowered other women to achieve success in your career.

 Round 2

Submit a video of two minutes or less addressing the following points:

         What is the one experience on the Aston MBA you are most excited to experience?
         How do you plan on using the Aston MBA in order to make an impact?
        What ambassadorial contributions do you plan to make to the MBA as one of our alumni?
