Boise State University is a public university located near downtown Boise, the capital city of Idaho. Boise State was originally founded in 1932 as Boise Junior College by the Episcopal Church. The university has a total enrollment of 19,500.
The university offers more than 190 fields of interest. The degree programs include doctorate, masters, baccalaureate and graduate certificate programs within eight colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business and Economics, Education, Engineering, Graduate Studies, Health Sciences, Social Sciences and Public Affairs, and Applied Technology.
