Founded in 1999, Shunde Polytechnic is a higher vocational and technical education provider situated in Shunde, Foshan, a manufacturing town in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area in southern China. The institute is approved by the Ministry of Education. Shunde Polytechnic’s diploma programs prepare students for professional careers in the global industry environment. The institute actively participates in projects aimed at supporting cooperation between Chinese vocational higher education and international higher education and strives to improve curricula to achieve a good standard of vocational higher education in China. Currently, Shunde Polytechnic is home to nearly 20,000 full-time students, enrolled in courses offered across 11 schools.
