Mining engineering is a profession that is characterised by rapid scientific and industry advancement. Mining engineers typically use the latest technologies to extract minerals from the earth safely and efficiently. To apply for entry into this course, you must have met:

the course ATAR (Australian Tertiary Academic Rank) or equivalent recognised overseas qualification
ATAR - 80
Completion of Australian Year 12 (VCE, HSC, QCE, WACE, SACE, TCE, NTCE, ACT) with a minimum Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) of 70; and a scaled mark of at least 50 in English, Literature, or English as an Additional Language or Dialect.
International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma - 30
