Diploma to Degree Pathway: This Bachelor program is designed with the first year delivered as the SIT50322 Diploma of Event Management (CRICOS Code 111089G). The Diploma provides students hands-on practical event skills and a foundation knowledge of the events industry. Upon completion of the Diploma, students will progress into the CRS1400177 Bachelor of Event Management (CRICOS Code 085672A) at year two. The degree provides a deeper understanding of the complexities of event management with a focus on people management and business knowledge and encourages the application of entrepreneurial and innovative solutions to event challenges. Combining academic study and hands-on learning, you will extend your knowledge beyond the classroom by planning and delivering end-to-end event management services. You’ll also participate in field trips to live events, event suppliers, and hotel conference and banqueting venues, to gain insight into the application of event management in industry. Strong industry connections offer valuable opportunities and the chance to take on key roles within leading organisations. Through these partnerships, you’ll build professional relationships and gain real-world experience to launch a successful career in event management. Students who have completed the Diploma, enter the Bachelor program at Year 2. As a graduate, you will be equipped to thrive in this fast-paced industry, using critical and creative thinking to solve complex problems and implement innovative solutions. THE ANGLISS EXPERIENCE: Combine academic study with hands-on experience beyond the classroom with field trips to live events, event suppliers, hotel conference and hotel banqueting departments. You will be involved with the planning and staging of live events. You will develop innovative concepts from conceptualisation through to implementation as part of live events. You will be directly Involved with industry related projects and report reflections back to event stakeholders.
