The Global Politics and International Relations major explores the relationship among states, the role of international organisations, foreign policies and power dynamics between countries. You’ll examine the interaction of society, economy and politics across national boundaries. Develop knowledge of global politics and analyse the theory and practice of international relations by examining how communities respond to globalisation, migration, poverty and climate change. Learn how the influence of global movements, issues such as environmentalism and religion and contemporary global challenges are understood and addressed by political actors, from nation states to global social movements.
