This postgraduate specialisation is designed for students who wish to advance their learning in entrepreneurship and innovation It offers graduates and experienced professionals the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge to become an entrepreneurial manager of either a new or established business Participants are exposed to uptodate developments in theory and knowledge in each area and learning is consolidated through research and case study material in seminars discussions and assigned project work You will learn how to deal with uncertainty manage innovation and improve the business through the application of best practice methods of entrepreneurship innovation and new product developmentLearning OutcomesApply critical thinking and technical skills to solve authentic business problemsDemonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills appropriate to cultural contextsDemonstrate mastery of a global body of discipline knowledge and practice including knowledge of research principles and methodsIndependently initiate plan and execute a substantial project to meet agreed deliverablesJustify decisions and judgements that address a complex business issue considering the ethical and social consequences

All applicants are required to have a Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of three years of relevant supervisory/management experience; or equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience of which at least three of these years must be at a supervisory/management level.Successful applicants with a Graduate Certificate qualification or higher in Business/Commerce may seek reduced course duration by applying for recognition of prior learning.One or more of the specialisations in this course has admission requirements. Refer to the specialisation for more information.Academic admission requirements (Band 6) may be satisfied through completion of one of the following:Bachelor degree; orEquivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience.
