The civil engineering major provides advanced studies in the broad spectrum of civil engineering disciplines, expanding the knowledge gained in undergraduate degrees and applying it to complex problems. The course will prepare graduates to deal with future challenges in sustainability of civil infrastructure with respect to global warming and population growth.

This course is suitable for practising engineers who want to change engineering disciplines and attain postgraduate qualifications. Through your studies, you will learn how to apply advanced and specialist knowledge, concepts and practices in engineering design, analysis management and sustainability. You will learn to critically analyse and evaluate complex engineering problems, and apply systematic approaches to plan, design, execute and manage an engineering project.
