The Master of Public Health Extension provides a comprehensive introduction to public health, connecting you with the big public health challenges of our time, and to the experts working to improve health and well-being and reduce inequalities. This extended program allows you to tailor your learning to your career aspirations by completing additional specialisations or elective subjects.With a strong focus on Work Integrated Learning, industry connections, and practical placements (available through the Public Health Practice specialisation), you will put theory into practice and develop diverse skills and knowledge in public health. You will engage in innovative learning experiences that provide advanced work-ready skills and develop a keen analytical and social lens to address issues of global health significance.

Admission to the Master of Public Health Extension requires a Bachelor degree from any discipline. Entry to the Public Health Research specialisation requires a WAM of 75 or greater in your prior studies. Students wishing to take PGPH940 Public Health Practice will require a WAM of 65 across all completed subjects.
