Many graduates go on to become dietitians, youth and social workers, and more listed below.The program is interdisciplinary and provides a distinctive and integrated focus of applied social science in each of the 3 majors. Courses from the traditional disciplines in other departments in the University are coupled with courses offered by faculty members in the Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition whose own backgrounds reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the program.Laboratory, practicum and field experiences enhance the students opportunities to grasp the contributions of the social, physical and biological sciences to significant facets of human behaviour and experience, whether in family, community, or in educational settings.
