Learn about Canada’s political history and contemporary governance at the municipal, provincial and federal levels. Examine the theories and practicalities of social and economic policy, Indigenous relations, societal issues and international affairs. Our political science degree prepares students for careers in public service, law, business and media.Political scientists study how people in groups get along. We examine theories and practices of conflict and co-operation at every level of social life. Understand how the communities to which you belong are organized and operate. Develop skills in critical thinking, research and communication. Study topical subjects in political philosophy, comparative politics, Canadian government and international politics.

Untuk mahasiswa internasional

International secondary and post-secondary credentials are considered. International students must meet the equivalent of the criteria outlined for high school admission and university transfer in British Columbia. Admission is based on the comparison of standards for credentials and grading in the country of origin. Applicants whose first language is not English must be able to demonstrate an acceptable level of proficiency in English.For admission from a GCE system (or equivalent) a minimum of two Advanced (A) level subjects and three Ordinary (O) level subjects must be completed with an overall GPA of C or higher in order to be considered for admission. All A level subjects presented for admission must have a grade of at least C. Students may substitute two Advanced Subsidiary (AS) level subjects for one A level.
