Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

Genetics is the science of heredity and heredity deals with the mechanisms of inheritance. The Genetics program represents three main areas classical genetics, population genetics and molecular genetics. Students will study advances in medicine, agricultural techniques, heritable IQ, genetically modified organisms, genetic counselling and gene therapy.The Faculty of Science offers multiple programs of study leading to a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics. The Genetics degrees are offered jointly by the departments of Biological Sciences and Microbiology. Students who complete an undergraduate degree in Genetics and are looking for graduate level training can explore opportunities in many areas, including Biological Sciences and Microbiology.

To declare the BSc Major or Honours in Genetics, you first must be accepted into the Faculty of Science. The following are the minimum requirements for entry into the Faculty of Science.Direct entry means you are applying to the program directly out of high school or have completed fewer than 24 credit hours at a recognized university or college.Advanced entry Applicants are those who have completed one year (24 credit hours) or more of studies in another faculty at the University of Manitoba or another recognized post-secondary institution.
