Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The program in African Studies aims to provide students with in-depth knowledge of the functioning of the states and societies that form the African continent.The political and economic power of Africa is growing. The influence of the African continent in contemporary geopolitics is unavoidable. At the same time, Africa is undergoing profound demographic, social and environmental transformations, to name a few.The African and Diaspora program provides an in-depth, nuanced, and critical education on the continent’s most important states, societies, and contemporary issues. The program integrates several disciplines, including political science, sociology, anthropology, history, economics, law, management and education.At the end of their studies, students should be able to move away from perceptions of a homogeneous continent to instead better distinguish between the states, societies, and ethno-linguistic groups that compose it in all their richness and plurality.

You must have an Ontario high school diploma with at least six 4U-4M or DU-level courses to be eligible for admission to the first year of university. Please note: All the courses that are prerequisites for your chosen program must be 4U-level courses, unless otherwise indicated.We use your top six interim or final grades in 4U, 4M, or DU courses, including the prerequisites for your chosen program, to calculate your admission average. We do not round up your grades.International baccalaureate diplomaApplicants enrolled in the International Baccalaureatenorth_eastexternal link Diploma program are eligible for admission if they have completed (or are in the process of completing) the full IB program and meet the following conditions:Have passed six subjects (including the prerequisites for your program of choice) with at least three at the Standard Level and three at the Higher Level.Have a minimum average of 29 points.
