Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The Graduate Program in Political Science offers a Graduate Diploma in Democratic Administration that is awarded concurrently with a Masters or Doctoral degree for which the student is registered.The Diploma program aims to equip students with both the analytical and practical insights needed to help build more democratic and responsive institutions. The program is geared to both new and returning students who aspire to leadership positions in popular sector institutions, from trade unions and non-profitable charities, to state administration and quasi-governmental organizations.Each student is exposed to an in-depth analysis of the parameters which constrain collective institutions and the state, with the goal of ensuring that students are able to both elaborate and critically evaluate policies across a broad range of social and economic issues. Equally important, in keeping with the democratic thrust of the program, students explore alternative methods of policy formation and implementation.

Applicants must hold, at a minimum, an Honours undergraduate degree or equivalent (typically a four-year full-time program) from a recognized post-secondary institution with at least a B (second class) standing in the final two years of full-time equivalent study. As approved by the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Senate, individual graduate programs may have a minimum academic standing requirement greater than B (second class).
