Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

Geography literally means to write about the earth, all of the physical and human interactions that shape our world. It is a discipline that bridges the social sciences, the humanities and the physical sciences. Geographers have long tried to understand the basic physical and social systems that affect everyday life. Geography students are curious and eager to learn about the world around them, from the earth’s relationship with the sun, to changing water and wind cycles, to relations between cities, regions and nations. At York, we offer a BA and an iBA in Geography from one of the largest Geography programs in any university in Canada. We are an internationally recognized program committed to hands-on, experiential learning, using technologies and field work in places from the Oak Ridges Moraine in Ontario to Thailand.

Untuk mahasiswa internasional

International Baccalaureate (IB) - IB Diploma with passes in six subjects: three passes at the Standard-level and three passes at the Higher-level, or two passes at the Standard-level and four passes at the Higher-level. Minimum IB Diploma point scores of 30 or higher is recommended (scores of 28 will be considered).Minimum 4 is required in each subject unless otherwise indicated. IB Certificate candidates with six subjects are considered for admission, Transfer credit granted for IB courses with Higher-level final grades of 5 or better, depending on the program (maximum 30 credits). Prerequisites listed correspond to Standard-or Higher-level.General Certificate of Education (GCE) - Minimum of two Advanced-level (A2) passes and three GCSE or IGCSE Ordinary-level (O-level) passes. Minimum average of “C” is required on Advanced-level and Ordinary-level passes. Grades of “E” are not considered. Prerequisite courses (minimum of “C” unless otherwise indicated) must be presented atthe Advanced-level. Transfer credits may be awarded for A level courses completed with a C or better.
