Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The MSC.MCB program is offered in five fields: 1 biochemistry 2 cell biology 3 microbiology 4 molecular biology and genetics and 5 plant biology. There are also opportunities for collaborative specializations in the areas of Neuroscience and Toxicology.The objective of the program is to provide graduate students with a high level of relevant knowledge and expertise in contemporary molecular and cellular biology, including experimental techniques, library research, writing and communication skills. Graduates will have the knowledge and skills needed to carry out high quality scientific research and will be prepared for employment in positions with some responsibility in the research and teaching enterprises of academic institutions as instructors and technical staff, in science-related positions in the broad biotechnology sector e.g. food and beverage industries, pharmaceuticals, biomedical, and agriculture-related industries, or in government sector institutes and laboratories. They will be well prepared to continue their graduate education at the PhD level. Minimum Degree: Normally, the minimum requirement for admission to a master's program is successful completion of an undergraduate degree/ baccalaureate, in an honours program or the equivalent, from a recognized university. Minimum Admisson Average: 70% (B-) average is required in the last two years of full-time equivalent study. Calculating Admission Average: North American Degrees; A four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized institution. Typically, the last 20 one-semester courses consist of 10 Credits/60 Units/60 Hours For in-progress degrees, the total number of credits with grades that are used may be lower. E.g. 8 Credits/48 Units/48 Hours may have grades while 2 Credits/12 Units/12 Hours will be in progress. International Degrees; Country-specific degree equivalent to Guelph's four-year undergraduate degree from a recognized institution. Typically, the last 4 full-time semesters (or 6 full-time semesters for full-year education systems) equivalent credits.
