The Air Conditioning and Heating Service and Installation certificate is a first level program of study that will prepare students with entry level skills to begin a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) career. The skills gained in the program will give individuals the advantage in a crowd of candidates applying for entry-level jobs Completion of this first certificate will enable students to be employed as a maintenance technician and work toward becoming a journeyman, while also continuing their studies to earn the next level major certificate and advance in their career and earning potential. Program Outcome Prepare students for entry-level employment as an Air Conditioning, and Heating Technician and for industry certifications.
