The combined Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and Master of Science (M.S.) program in Asian Studies and Accounting offers highly-motivated students the opportunity to complete their undergraduate and graduate degrees in five years of full-time study.
You may enroll in four or more approved graduate courses while still working toward your undergraduate degree. These graduate courses count toward both the undergraduate and graduate degree and incur no additional charges while you are still matriculated as an undergraduate.
By completing undergraduate requirements during your first four years of study, you are assured of the B.A. degree if for any reason you decide not to complete the M.S. Graduate courses that are applied to the B.A. may not be applied to a graduate degree should you decide not to complete the combined degree program.
Overview
As an Asian Studies major, you will engage in comprehensive and critical study of the cultural and linguistic development of the Asian world, both as a whole and as individual societies. The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree combines language instruction with courses about the history, literature, philosophy, religion, society, and politics of Asian cultures.
You may combine the B.A. in Asian Studies with a graduate degree in East Asian Studies, Business Administration, or Accounting to earn both graduate and undergraduate degrees in only five years of study.
