Transnational forces, be they economic, monetary, environmental, or demographic, will continue to shape students’ lives long after they leave college.San Antonio College offers an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in International Studies in order to promote globally competent citizens. This degree strives to increase students’ knowledge of history, culture, economics, the environment, government, and languages from a global perspective. Today’s job market especially requires employees who can successfully work in a globally interconnected and interdependent environment.
