Apa yang akan saya pelajari?

The Bachelor of Arts in Sustainability is designed to train students to research, implement and monitor sustainable practices, processes, systems and frameworks in human habitats. Sustainability examines the interrelated environmental, political, economic and social issues and problems facing our society at local, regional and global scales. The degree will prepare students to engage with these issues in their workplace and in their community, so that collaborative solutions can be found. The curriculum is designed to educate, train and prepare students for future careers in diverse fields focusing on the environment, energy, climate change, public policy, transportation and urban and regional planning. The degree also serves as a foundation for students wishing to pursue graduate training in affiliated fields of study. Students will choose one of the following concentration tracks for further training and focus: Sustainable Societal and Urban Systems (SUS), Policy and Governance in Sustainability (PGS), or Sustainable Societies (SS). Each track requires 6 credit hours (2 courses). Students may also construct their own track, with the approval of the program director.

The University of Louisville seeks to admit college-ready students. Students with strong high school grades and a pre-college high school curriculum are generally admitted. Students with lower test scores will be considered if they demonstrate strong high school grades in a rigorous high school curriculum. GCE: O Level: Minimum grade of C or 5 in a minimum of 5 subjects, average of all subjects taken must also be a C or higher IGCSE: Minimum grade of C or 5 in a minimum of 5 subjects, average of all subjects taken must also be a C or higher. (Any AS/A Levels will be included in assessment. All subjects must meet standards as outlined here.) GCE: AS/ A Level: Minimum grade of C or 5 in a minimum of 5 subjects (can be a combination of O and A level), average of all subjects taken must also be a C or higher; (Any O Levels will be included in assessment. All subjects must meet standards as outlined here.) IB: International Baccalaureate: Successful completion of IB Diploma minimum of 27 Points West African School Certificate: Completion with minimum C4 in a minimum of 5 subjects General Educational Development (GED) exam: The GED satisfies proof of HS graduation only. Applicants must have a minimum score of 145 (equivalent to 2.9 GPA). They will be required to take the Reading Accuplacer exams to indicate college readiness.
