In the BA in Philosophy and Religious Studies, you will study a broad survey of major figures and ideas in philosophy as well as in the major world religions, with in-depth studies of those figures and ideas that you find particularly attractive. You may emphasize either philosophy or religious studies, and pursue a tailored program that prepares you to go to graduate school or directly into a rewarding career.The program introduces you to a variety of ideas from the philosophical tradition, and enhances your critical and conceptual thinking.You will have the flexibility to combine a broad survey of major figures and ideas in philosophy, as well as in the major world religions, with in-depth studies of specific philosophers or particular religions, and choose to concentrate on either philosophy or religious studies.You will be introduced to a variety of ideas from the philosophical tradition, enhances critical and conceptual thinking, and upon graduation, prepared to purse graduate study or begin a rewarding career.
