The graphic design program at OSU teaches you to understand and apply design principles, technical processes and conceptual ideas to a vast range of design media. Here you learn to appreciate the range and purpose of the discipline, as well as the skills to understand what constitutes effective design.

Our graphic design program at OSU is acknowledged as a leading program in the region with award-winning faculty and graduates. You'll have 24-hour access to cutting edge design studios and computer lab spaces to develop skills in traditional media, printing processes and industry-standard software as well as more difficult media such as in motion and interaction. High School GPA 3.0+ (based on a 4.0 scale) and English-language proficiency exam scores (one of the following): iBT TOEFL Internet-Based Score 61+; IELTS Academic Score 5.5+; PTE Academic Score 46+; iTEP Academic Score 3.5+, Duolingo English Test Score 95+.

Note: OSU will only accept the Duolingo English Test (DET) results from students beginning Fall 2024.

Application deadline: For applicants currently living in the U.S. - Fall: July 1, Spring: December 1 and Summer: May 1; For applicants not living in the U.S. - Fall: June 1, Spring: November 1 and Summer: March 1.
