Saint Louis University's computer science B.S. to software engineering M.S. accelerated program allows a student to complete both the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and the Master of Science in Software Engineering in a shorter time period than if the two degrees were pursued independently. SLU's accelerated master's program allows undergraduate computer science majors to earn both a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in five years. Students combine a B.A. or B.S. in computer science with a master's degree in computer science, software engineering, artificial intelligence or bioinformatics and computational biology. Students enrolled in SLU's graduate program in software engineering develop and create design strategies using hands-on projects and modern software tools to gain knowledge, skills and experience. Students discover critical design strategies that allow for continual innovation throughout their careers. Guided by outstanding professors, much of the learning is team-based in small classes.
